CAST MEMBERS: SEASON ONE

LAURA
Laura is a senior student at San Ignacio high school who wants to live the Hollywood dream, but little by little. She's been attending classes at a prestigious art and drama school for years, where she met her frenemy Andrea Olázabal. This year Laura has to focus on her studies to finish her senior year succesfully, and, hopefully, being admitted in a good university next year.





ANDREA
Andrea appeared in the map a couple of years ago when she and Laura met each other at the Drama school and found out that actually both of them spend the summer in Luanco, alongside with Macarena. She is known for being one of the richest girls in town and that is frequently shown, but is also known for having trouble with girlfriends.





CRISTINA
Cristina was accepted at San Ignacio High School last year and she's on her senior year right now, being on the same class as Laura. She is known for having a rough past, and also, for dating lots of guys but she's been focusing on being a good friend and is one of Laura and Nica's closest friends. She does not get along with Andrea and Macarena.

  



NICA
Nica has been Laura's best friend since he was a child and they were both on Primary school. Lately he's been struggling with a lot of drama and wants to make things up with his close friends, which sometimes leads to the angriness of Laura for not making room enough for her.






MACARENA
Macarena is one of Laura's best friends. Even after the scandal she and Laura made after Laura went back from LA, they remain close friends, but in this season she feels stuck between Andrea and her. Her personal life is also shown on the season.

There's a new confrontation on the fourth episode!

When these girls will be done with their problems? Laura is still mad at Andrea for what happened and doesn't buy Andrea's excuses. This happens at the Christmas Party which Laura, Macarena and Nica will attend in tomorrow's episode. It is rumoured that this will be one of the only episodes of the season to feature the five members of the cast.

A brand new episode prémieres today!

 

A new episode of Introducing... is set to prémiere today. Rumor has it that it will be the first time that Laura's friend Cristina (not seen in the picture) will receive star billing in the opening credits but it was reported that she would not make an appearance on this episode. All we can say about today's episode is that you will find lots of drama, also, Laura and Macarena have too much fun with alcohol...

There's a new girl on the show

 

After Laura's personal life started to be more and more involved on the developement of the show, Laura decided to involved some of their closest friendships in it as her relationship with Macarena and Andrea had fall out a little, so Cristina appeared and decided to be a part of the lead members of the show. Her first appearance was on Episode Two: Second Chances, and she will receive star billing on the opening theme since next episode, which airs today.

Series prémiere reaches 120 plays!

The prémiere of Introducing... came with a little surprise. Expectations for this show's success were low after FTR's second season, which was a big fall out from it's previous one. But things worked out and people liked the tension between Laura and Macarena, because drama entertains. Check out the first episode of the show in case you missed it.

Second chances in the second episode of the show

The episode two of the show ''Second Chances'' prémiered on NikiSpears's Youtube Channel on Thursday 12th, May, and got 35 plays in it's first week, a little less than the series prémiere which got 55, this is explained by it's lack of promotion due to personal conflicts. In this episode Laura thinks about celebrating her 17th birthday inviting of all her friends, with the exception of Macarena. Things change during the episode and Macarena shows up and Laura's friend Andrea lies about being punished by his parents while going to the cinema with a friend, spotted by Laura's friend Pauli.

@lauractress vs. @martasuperestar

 

Marta González (aka @martasuperestar) started working with Nica in Summer 2010 while Laura was in vacation in LA and Marta and Nica were studying in Wisconsin. Their collaboration resulted on ''City of Madison'', which hit YouTube on August 2010. Soon after the season two of For The Record prémiered and the competition began, with Laura winning on views (FTR), Nica expressed that ''City of Madison'' was meant for fun and would not be scripted, Marta's acting habilities were praised for being ''natural'', ''original'', and ''funny''. 

After some legal and problems, For The Record got cancelled in December 2010 with María Gómez leaving the show for personal reasons a month ago. Season Two of FTR was a failure with lower success than the first one with lower plays and worse reviews. There was also a third season, but went on hiatus after it's highly controversial first episode.

 In early 2011, Nica posted on his Twitter account that he and Laura would be back on the reality scene with a brand new show, revealing it's name ''Introducing...'' on February, maintaining the lead cast of FTR's Season Three (Laura, Andrea, Nica and Macarena)

But, where's the drama?! It was revealed that Marta would appear on some episodes of the show, as starting to be a good friend of Macarena, and that didn't make Laura very happy, especially when she posted this on her Twitter account ''abajoo la laura arriba yoo! 8:29 PM Mar 20th via Echofon'' and Laura answered saying ''@martasuperestar lo sientooo #abajolamarta viva #yo 8:32 PM Mar 20th via web''.
